no time no time>
pardon me for my less than frequent updating cos there is really little time to breathe these few days. lectures had started. labs started. tutorials started. homework had started to pile up. science events coming up one by one. my 2 races are coming soon too. need time to coordinate my events, train, eat, sleep, leisure and study.... arghh...
then when you have no time you come to think of whether or not what you have committed in so far is worth it or not. nevermind about the answer. since i have already committed myself thus far, i shall give out my hundred and one percent for this last semester in science club and for me year 1 in NUS and bring my 1st year in NUS to a wonderful closure, be it academic, club duties or sports wise.
i will always remember my dream of becoming a semi-pro ironman athlete by 25 yrs of age, graduate with 2nd upper or hopefully 1st class honours, and going on to do my masters overseas, and of course to bring back with me wonderful memories of my uni life and probably to get my future wife here!...haha...
thats all for now. a rather boring post. haha. cos i am suffering from a damn bloody bad blocked nose and i hate having blocked nose!!! =(

finally>
the weather is damn weird. it was bright and sunny and now its dark and rainy. damn. there goes my swim training. nevermind, i shall swim tomorrow after my chalet.
after a week of worrying about my sub - committee project, finally everything is coming to an end. all the loose ends are being tied up. now what we are lacking is event sponsors and donors. so any kind soul out there who are interested in this event kindly sms/ call me (xin wei) at 91707958 or email me at sciclub.vpinternal@gmail.com

my academic goals for 2008:
1. pull my cap to above 4.5
my personal life goals for 2008:
1. increase my savings to above 20K
2. train more and harder
3. spend more time with my friends and familytraining these few days has been on track. constantly alternating between 1.5km swims and 12km hilly runs and having good rests in between. besides taking up dragon boating, which i think was rather manageable, i also just picked up squash last thursday.... haha...which was quite fun... my current swim timing was at 38 min 05 sec as of just now, where i just completed a 1.5km swim. timing for my 12km runs from my home to changi and back via the undulating slopes of selarang currently stands at 1 hr and 11 min and 02 sec. Hopefully with harder trainings, by sg biathlon, i can cut my timing down to a 35min swim, 55 min run. this leaves me with about 5 min for transition which totals up to 1 hr 35 min for the whole race. haha.
after my sg biathlon, i will intensify on my bike training to bring back my form and hopefully i will clock some good timings during osim.
and i have finally decided to purchase the HTC TyTn II PDA phone!!
